Several families are homeless after five homes were destroyed and two more were heavily damaged in a five-alarm fire on Pleasant and Pearl streets in Bradford, Pennsylvania, on Monday night, May 29. There were no human injuries, but dogs died in the fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The community's strong response to the fire highlights the city's resilience and strength, hence the title Bradford Strong.

Pray for the victims, for their safety, their health, and their peace of mind. Pray that they will be able to find a new place to live and that they will be able to rebuild their lives. Pray for the firefighters who fought the fire and the other the first responders who helped at the scene.
Items and Monetary Donations: Destinations
Destinations-Bradford, with the support of The Blaisdell Foundation, is collecting items or monetary donations (including gift cards to local restaurants and stores) to help those directly impacted. Donated items can be dropped off at Destinations-Bradford at 1 Main Street Tuesday through Friday from 10 am to 2 pm or the United Way of the Bradford Area at 161 Main Street, Monday through Friday 8 am to 2 pm. Monetary Donations: American Red Cross
The American Red Cross is accepting financial donations and can be reached at 814-368-6197.
